Have your consultation with Dr. Alexander in the privacy of your home.
This section was designed to allow our out of town patients to share information with Dr. Alexander in the comfort and privacy of their own home, and to provide them with detailed information about their procedure before flying to South Florida for surgery.

Step 1: Virtual Consultation
Please fill out our Virtual Consultation form.
Make sure to add your photos and to include any medications you are currently taking include over-the-counter and vitamins.
Step 2: Phone Consultation
Once Dr. Alexander has received and reviewed your completed Virtual Consultation form and photos, our Patient Coordinator will be contacting you via e-mail with price quotes, information and to set up a phone consultation.
Step 3: Scheduling Surgery
The next step will be to schedule your surgery date and in-office consultation with Dr. Alexander.
Step 4: Deposit and Payments
Scheduling your surgery requires an initial non-refundable deposit of $500, which could be made by phone with a credit card (under the patient’s name). Remaining balances are required to be paid in full at least 4 business days prior to your surgery date. We do not accept payments on the day of surgery.

Step 5: Pre-Operative Assessment and Medical Clearance
Your Bloodwork Test Results and Medical Clearance, from your primary physician or specialist, must be faxed or e-mailed to our office no later than 7 business days before surgery date.
* If a special Medical Clearance is found necessary prior to surgery, you will be referred to another physician who will bill you separately and the surgery date may be subject to change pending Medical Clearance.
Step 6: Arriving to Florida
Dr. Alexander requires ALL of out of town patients arrive at least 2 BUSINESS days prior surgery date for their in-person consultation.
If your surgery is scheduled to be on a Monday, your meeting with the surgeon will be schedule for Thursday early morning on the week before.
Step 7: Planning for your surgery
Please make arrangements to have a responsible adult to stay with you for the first 48-72 hours after surgery.
You will need to have someone drive you:

- To and FROM the hospital on the day of surgery
- To see Dr. Alexander, in our office, for your first post-operative check up the day after surgery.
- To see Dr. Alexander, in our office, for your second check-up if you had a Tummy tuck or Beltectomy.
Traveling Alone
For those traveling alone or who do not have friends or family in the area, we will provide information on transportation and caregivers.
Step 8: Recovering after surgery and length of stay in Florida
We have provided a general timeline to help with scheduling the length of your visit. Please keep in mind that recovery time may vary depending on the patient.

Doctor Alexander will need to evaluate your individual healing progress before clearing you to travel.
